Casual Vacancy for a Community Councillor, Bryncoch South Ward

Could you be a Community Councillor?  A casual vacancy exists in the Office of Councillor in the Bryncoch South Ward following the resignation of a Councillor.  The Notice of Vacancy is published on this website, under Documents / Public Notices, and at its community centres on 22 October 2025.  The vacancy needs to be filled either by election or co-option.  If, within fourteen (working) days after the 22 October 2025, a request for an election to fill the said vacancy is made by TEN electors from the Ward, an election will be held to fill the vacancy.  The request must be made in writing to The Chief Executive’s Office, Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council, Civic Centre, PORT TALBOT SA13 1PJ.
