Blaenhonddan Playgrounds are Re-opening

Blaenhonddan Community Council Parks and Playgrounds will re-open on Friday 24 July 2020. The facilities at Ynysygerwn, Cilfrew, Cadoxton, Caewern, Leiros Parc and Bryncoch will be open to the public subject to guidance received from Welsh Government. For everyone’s safety, parents, carers and children are all asked to adhere to social distancing rules. Everyone is asked to read and note the signs at each site, which indicate what is required to keep everyone as safe as possible –  Follow social distancing guidelines  Come back later if the playground is busy  Let people leave before you enter the playground and wait away from the equipment  One adult only accompanying children would help with numbers  Bring your own sanitisers  Equipment cannot be cleaned after each user, so washing hands before and after attending is important  Do not bring food and drink into the playground  Basic coronavirus hygiene advice should be followed, and please stay away if you have symptoms.

These are in place to keep everyone as safe as possible. The Parks and Playgrounds are not staffed during the day, so if there are any problems, users can contact the Council on –
